Spey Nation: Spey School 2026
Dates: Friday, August 7th, 2026
A dynamic casting session in the morning beginning at 8:00am. The objective of the morning session is to focus on the fundamentals of casting and tailor the instruction to your individual needs. We’ll break for lunch with an afternoon session beginning at 1:00pm. In the afternoon, the focus will be on practical application including rigging, presentation strategies and tips, and making the proper cast for a given fishing situation.
The evening will include an informal gathering for pizza, fly tying, and the opportunity for Q & A with the instructors.
The cost for the one-day school is $550 and includes instruction, lunch, informal dinner and soft drinks. The cost does not include lodging, however, Douglas Salmon Run lodges for available at only $80 per night for Spey School attendees. There is lodging available from beginning Wednesday the 5th through Sunday the 9th.
